Hendrix Barbecue has good food. The wait staff are continually on the move. Different ones will refill your drinks. I have only had BBQ. My husband had meatloaf and it was delicious too! We love their baked beans. Potato Salad is good as is the Cole Slaw. Nice BIG hush puppies. We make a point to eat at Hendrix Barbecue when we are in Salisbury. Below are pics of just the leftovers. We ate lunch there and I had a plate for super. YUM YUM

Great place to eat, any time of the day. The food is amazing and always good. Their burgers and fries are some of the best in town and the wait staff is kind and always eager to please. The drive thru is fast, and you can't go wrong with the small-town diner atmosphere inside.

The restaurant is a local favorite, and we stopped there just going through town. The food was excellent! I had the best barbecued chicken ever, and my husband loved his pulled pork. I want to return!

This Hendrix Barbeque is accessible from North and Southbound US 52, North and Southbound Interstate 85, East and Westbound US 70 and North and Southbound US 601 using West Innes Street. The restaurant is within walking distance of Catawba College, Livingstone College and the Bob Hefner Veterans Hospital. Sign out front claims the best breakfast in town served here and they don't disappoint . They serve lunch plate specials daily along with fresh BBQ plates sandwiches and trays. Also made to order burgers, hotdogs and other sandwiches.

We just moved to Salisbury. And out of all the places this place is the best. Great food great service all the way around. Glad we found Hendrix BBQ

I enjoy the service here and the food is excellent and a lot of veterans come here .it's a great pleasure to get to socialize with the veterans,they have some great stories to tell it's a great pleasure coming here. I love. Coming to a restaurant that makes me feel like home .and the food you get more than you pay for .thank you so much for your kindness and good spirits

Wife and I make it a point to stop here when we're in Salisbury. Staff is wonderful, the food is tremendous (my wife loves the chopped cue sandwich), and the prices are reasonable. Try the cheeseburger with pimento cheese or the chicken. They also have a huge board of sides, which are generous. And cherry yum-yum or banana pudding for dessert. Hendrix does it up right!
